Those at home in more than one world
see connections others miss.
In my day-to-day work
I connect people, processes and technology.
I am also an artist,
I write and I practise Qigong.
Not as a hobby, but as a form of expression
and a path to wholeness.
IT solves problems with systems. Art creates something that did not exist before. Qigong brings body and mind to rest. Three completely different worlds. Or are they?
To me they are not separate worlds. They all point in the same direction.
What emerges when you let go of thinking for a moment? That question runs like a thread through everything you will find here.
“The many forms arise from one source,
and keep returning to it.”
“Inspiration is the invisible
that wants to take shape.”

REFLECTION CARDS
paintings, sculptures, carvings
PORTFOLIOMy name is Martijn Vlamings. I have worked in IT for thirty years, but what I bring goes beyond that.
In 2011 I qualified in New Zealand as a Ren Xue / Zhineng Qigong teacher, Level 1 and Level 2. To me, Qigong is not a method but a way of being.
I also paint: fluid art, acrylic on canvas. And I write: about Qigong as a path inward, and about the I-Ching as a mirror, with an accompanying deck of reflection cards.
