This book shows that Qigong is more than movement, technique or a health practice. Behind the form lies a silent core that touches on consciousness, presence and inner freedom. Until the practice dissolves and something remains that was never gone.
Drawing on thirty years of practice, the book explores the meridians, the Qi field, movement and stillness, healing and the subtle workings of consciousness. It is an experiential journey rather than a manual, a place where Eastern wisdom meets Western groundedness.
A deck of 64 cards, each based on a hexagram from the I-Ching and complemented by knowledge and exercises from Zhineng Qigong. Every card carries a saying to reflect on and a core theme, an invitation to pause with whatever presents itself. An abbreviation on the card refers to the matching Qigong exercise in the book, so that the insight is not only understood with the mind but also integrated in the body.
For each of the 64 hexagrams there is a poem, a personal story drawn from my own experience, and a Qigong exercise or meditation, so that the insight is not only understood but truly lived.
The I-Ching is known as the Book of Changes. This book shows what lies behind all change: the true Self, unchanging like the Dao. Every gateway you pass through brings you closer to what you have always been.
